UiB has announced a temporary position as Chief Engineer in Data Management and Climate Prediction at the Institute of Geophysics and the Bjerknes Center for Climate Research. The candidate will work within the Bjerknes’ Climate Prediction Unit and Climate Futures.
The person hired will support the BCPU team and work on technical and scientific issues within geophysics-related data management (approximately 50%), operational climate forecasting (approximately 30%), and earth system modeling (approximately 20%).
