We have a vacant PhD position in user-oriented climate prediction.
We are looking for a PhD candidate who is interested in climate predictions and wants to find out how forecasts can be used by businesses and organisations that are affected by the weather. In Climate Futures, we work closely with stakeholders, and the candidate will have the possibility to engage with our business partners.
The position is associated with the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research. The candidate will work with Bjerknes Climate Prediction Unit (BCPU), a group that focuses on developing improved climate predictions on a sub-seasonal to decadal time scale.
